About Ty Taylor
Tall with handsome good looks and a ready smile, Ty Taylor is one of the select groups of country singers who is actually a real life cowboy. When not on the road entertaining, Ty enjoys being at home on the ranch where one could find him doing anything from fixing fence, to breaking a colt or training a stockdog for use on the ranch.
Country music is part of his roots – as Ty put into words, “Country music is all about real life, about real people. It’s about real situations, it is part of our heritage, and I’m proud to be a part of it.
Naturally a charismatic performer, like most artists, Taylor grew up in a musical family. He acquired his first guitar while still a boy at the age of ten. Ty began his musical education by listening to the radio, and played the songs he heard. This helped develop his highly acclaimed ear for music, a God-given gift, handed down through his mother.
Taylor tours throughout the country from coast to coast. The popular sound of Ty Taylor is a result of his flexibility. While a traditionalist at heart, he successfully combines honky tonk and swing tunes with his original material that are destined to draw people to the dance floor.
As a singer, songwriter and entertainer, Taylor is quickly gaining national acclaim for his extraordinary vocals, backed by the superb musicianship and vitality of his band. Ty’s strong vocals backed by some of Nashville’s finest session players put the country back into country music in his album, Take Me As I Am.
Ty Taylor’s success boils down to unadulterated talent and personality. He embraces life, displays a great sense of humor and enjoys each moment. His enthusiasm is contagious and evident to anyone who has seen any of his performances.
